Tech, Emory Get $11.5 Million for Nanotech

Researchers at Georgia Tech and Emory University School of Medicine have received $11.5 million to develop new ways of detecting cardiovascular disease. The grant, from the National Institutes of Health, focuses on creating advanced nanotechnologies to analyze plaque formation in the arteries and detect it at the earliest stages before it causes heart attacks.
