Australia's Mayne Group to Consider Splitting Its Businesses

Mayne Group, Australia's largest maker of generic injectable drugs, will consider splitting its businesses. Mayne "is undertaking a strategic review to assess the merits of a demerger involving separate listings of its global pharmaceutical business and an entity focused on its domestic healthcare businesses," the Melbourne-based company said in a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange today.
