Sysmex to Boost Operations in Europe

On May 9, Sysmex announced its plans to expand its operating base in Europe. First, the company will reinforce its Neumunster factory engaged in manufacturing reagents. With an investment of 5 million euros, the factory's production capacity will be doubled to 1,400,000 cartons annually by January 2007. In addition, the company will establish Sysmex Polska Sp. z. o. o. in Warsaw on May 30. To be capitalized at PLN 2 million, the new subsidiary will handle sales in Poland.
