Theragenics CFO, General Counsel Resign

Two senior executives resigned from Theragenics May 8 over actions by the chief executive that they considered inappropriate, the maker of cancer treatment devices said. James MacLennan, the company's chief financial officer, and Tracy Caswell, Theragenics general counsel, stepped down after the board ruled that President and CEO M. Christine Jacobs had not done anything to violate laws or company rules. Theragenics said the allegations did not involve the accuracy of its financial statements or prior public disclosures, but did not provide further detail in a news release.
