Orchid Chemicals Signs Marketing Pact for U.S.

Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals said that it signed a pact for distribution of products in the U.S. generics drugs market. Under the agreement, Par Pharmaceutical will market Orchid Chemicals' four non-antibiotic products in the U.S., said a statement issued to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The Chennai-based Orchid Chemicals has also signed a deal with Phoenix for a "unique veterinary cephalosporin" product covering the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
