Torrent Pharmaceuticals Q4 Net Down 66.32 Percent at Rs 3.30 Crore

Torrent Pharmaceuticals audited results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2005, is as follows: The company has posted 66.32 percent decline in net profit at Rs 3.30 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005, as compared to Rs 9.80 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2004. Total income has increased by 2.96 percent to Rs 106.04 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005, from Rs 102.99 crore in Q4-04. The company has posted 17.53 percent decline in net profit at Rs 52.92 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005, as compared to Rs 64.17 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004.
