Henry Schein Acquires Dental Distributors in Australia, New Zealand

Henry Schein, a provider of healthcare products and services to office-based practitioners in the combined North American and European markets, announced the acquisition of Halas Dental and Shalfoon Bros., full-service providers of dental merchandise and equipment in Australia and New Zealand, respectively. Henry Schein purchased these businesses from Australian Pharmaceutical Industries. Henry Schein did not disclose terms of the transaction.
