Bentley Pharmaceuticals has increased its penetration into the European market with the introduction of the generic drug omeprazole in the United Kingdom. Bentley, which manufactures and sells branded and generic pharmaceuticals in Europe, announced that it has been approved to market omeprazole -- an acid-reflex prescription drug commonly known in the United States as Prilosec -- into the competitive UK sector.
