Morphotek, GSK Enter Into Agreement

Morphotek Inc. entered into a research and collaboration agreement with GlaxoSmithKline plc to generate cell lines that exhibit new or improved biological characteristics. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Under the terms of the nonexclusive agreement, Morphotek of Exton, Pa., will receive funding to support research and development efforts for an initial project to be performed for GlaxoSmithKline.
