GSK Stake in Local Arm Now Exceeds 50 Percent Post Buyback

GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals (GSK) has started its buyback programme on Thursday by acquiring around a 1.5 percent stake (13,23,951 shares) from the open market for a consideration of Rs 106 crore. With this, foreign holding in the company has crossed 50 percent.
