Ranbaxy Denies Deal With Pfizer

Ranbaxy has denied reports that it was seeking an out of court settlement with Pfizer in its battle over the cholesterol reducing drug, Lipitor. Ranbaxy has challenged Pfizer's patents over Lipitor or atorvastatin in several countries including the U.S. Pfizer holds two patents on the cholesterol-lowering drug till 2009 and 2011.
