Bayer Diagnostics Receives Approval for Automated Hepatitis B Assays

Bayer HealthCare Diagnostics Division, a member of the Bayer Group, has announced it received approval from the FDA for its automated HBsAg (hepatitis B surface antigen) and HBsAg Confirmatory assays. The fully automated tests, which are used to aid in the diagnosis and confirmation of acute or chronic hepatitis B infections, are available on the ADVIA Centaur Immunoassay System.
