Indian Pharma Dominates Drug Master Filings in US

Indian pharma companies dominated the DMF (drug master filing) space with 74 filings, accounting for 37% share of the total. A total of 198 DMFs, primarily Type I and II, were filed with the US food and drug administration, according to the latest DMF list for quarter ended March 2005. A total of 74 filings were divided among 25 companies from India.
