Sogo Clinical Pharmacology to Acquire Japan Clinical Pharmacology

Sogo Clinical Pharmacology announced on June 7 that it has reached a basic agreement with SRL and Japan Clinical Pharmacology Laboratories (JCPL), SRL's wholly owned subsidiary, to acquire JCPL as a subsidiary. New JCPL shares will be allocated to Sogo from July 1 to Aug. 31, and Sogo will own a 51 percent stake in JCPL. JCPL has a record in clinical trial support services including pharmacological trials as well as site management organization operations.
