Jubilant Organosys Plans Capacity Expansion for Pyridine and Picoline

Jubilant Organosys is increasing manufacturing capacity for Pyridine and Picoline to 28,000 tonnes per annum (tpa). The company captively manufactures acetaldehyde and formaldehyde, two of the major raw materials for pyridine and picoline. This own source provides the company with the competitive advantage of being the world's lowest cost producer of pyridine and picoline. Pyridine and picoline are extensively used in pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, shampoos and other industries.
