Medical Services to Begin Testing in the U.S.

Medical Services International will begin testing of both its VScan hepatitis C and tuberculosis (TB) rapid test kits in the U.S.

Completion of the testing in the U.S. will be further validation of the accuracy of the VScan rapid test kits for hepatitis C and TB, Medical Services said. The company will file for regulatory approval in the U.S. once the testing is completed.

Independent testing of the VScan test kits for hepatitis C and TB has gone very well internationally, the company said. Both kits are currently being used for screening in China and the Caribbean.
