UK's Gyrus Grows in Surgery With $497 Million U.S. Deal

British medical equipment maker Gyrus Group is buying U.S. peer American Cystoscope Makers (ACMI) for $333 million, plus $164 million in debt, to provide a platform for expansion into general surgery.
