REGENERX FILES $60 MILLION SHELF REGISTRATION STATEMENT

RegeneRx Biopharmaceuticals filed a shelf registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This registration statement, upon being declared effective by the SEC, will allow RegeneRx to sell up to $60 million, in aggregate, of its common stock and warrants to purchase common stock. These securities may be offered from time to time, separately or together, in amounts, at prices and on terms set forth in future amendments to the prospectus.
