INTRABIOTICS SEVERS ENTIRE STAFF

IntraBiotics Pharmaceuticals said Monday that it terminated all of its regular employees. The Palo Alto pharmaceutical company turned over responsibility for day-to-day operations to the Lafayette-based Hickey & Hill, a firm specializing in companies in transition. Denis Hickey was appointed chief executive officer. While Hickey & Hill administers the company, the IntraBiotics board of directors, with the help of consultants, will discuss alternative strategies.
