LONZA, BMS CONFIRM COMMITMENT TO PORTSMOUTH PLANT

Swiss chemicals group Lonza Group AG and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co confirmed that their current long-term agreement for the large-scale production plant in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is unchanged. The two companies made the statement after an earlier Bristol-Myers announcement saying it has signed a long-term production agreement with South Korean biopharma group Celltrion, sparked doubts about Bristol's commitment to its agreement with Lonza.
