CARDIODYNAMICS GETS NEW BIOZ FDA OK

Medical devicemaker CardioDynamics International has said the FDA cleared a version of its heart monitor that can be upgraded to use technology from Philips Medical Systems, a unit of the Netherlands' Royal Philips Electronics. The agency cleared the second phase of the company's BioZ Dx electrocardiography device, which allows the use of 12 leads to monitor the heart's pumping ability.
