CORAUTUS GENETICS GETS $23 MILLION INFUSION

Corautus Genetics will raise a total of $23 million through a stock sale and through an amended loan agreement. The Atlanta-based biopharmaceutical company reported Boston Scientific and a group of private investors have agreed separately to buy nearly 4.7 million shares of Corautus common stock for about $18 million. Also, Boston Scientific amended its loan agreement with Corautus to make $5 million in loan proceeds immediately available.
