CIVENTICHEM ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT WITH TRANZYME

CiVentiChem, a provider of integrated chemistry services, announced today that it has entered into a research and development collaboration with Tranzyme Pharma, a leading biopharmaceutical company developing novel mechanism-based therapeutics for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. Under the terms of the agreement, CiVentiChem will provide research services in the areas of medicinal chemistry, custom compound synthesis and process development. CiVentiChem will provide services to Tranzyme Pharma from its facility in Research Triangle Park, N.C., as well as through its subsidiary, Indus Biosciences, located in Hyderabad, India.
