DUSA PHARMACEUTICALS REPORTS SECOND QUARTER FINANCIAL RESULTS

DUSA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ NMS:DUSA) a leading biopharmaceutical company developing photodynamic therapy (PDT) products for dermatology and other medical indications, reported today its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2005. Revenues for the second quarter of 2005 were $2.23 million compared to $2.18 million in the second quarter of 2004. Revenues for the six-months ended June 30, 2005 were $5.60 million compared to $3.43 million in the comparable 2004 period.
