AEOLUS PHARMACEUTICALS NARROWS NET LOSS 84%

Aeolus Pharmaceuticals Inc. on Wednesday posted a net loss of $1.64 million, or 12 cents per share, in its fiscal 2005 third quarter. That's an 84 percent decrease compared to a loss of $10.47 million in the three months ended June 30, 2004. The company's research and development costs and its general and administrative costs dropped in its fiscal third quarter due to its restructuring efforts.
