COVALON LAUNCHES COLLAGEN WOUND DRESSINGS

Covalon Technologies said its distribution partner Hartmann-Conco has officially launched Covalon's collagen wound dressing products.

Hartmann-Conco is the exclusive U.S. distributor for the Covalon collagen wound dressings and antimicrobial silver collagen wound dressings, branded under the names ColActive and ColActiveAg respectively. The products are indicated for the management of full and partial thickness wounds.

Covalon said the launch "is an important event in the company's evolution" because: it is now revenue producing; the burn rate has declined; it is no longer solely a development company; and the Covalon team is now focused on expanding the sales and product offerings.
