REVIVAL SCHEME OF BCPL TO BE MOVED SOON TO THE CABINET

The Department of Chemicals and Fertilisers has decided to revive the Bengal Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (BCPL) and will soon move the detailed proposal of revival recommended by BIFR to the Cabinet. During the review meeting of the performance of three Public Sector Undertakings such as BCPL, Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd (HAL) and Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd (HOCL) with the chief executives chaired by Mr Ram Vilas Paswan, Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers and Steel, it was decided that a detailed proposal to revive the BCPL, as recommended by BIFR, be taken up in the Cabinet quickly.
