ADVENT TO SELL GERMAN PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP VIATRIS TO MEDA

Advent International has agreed to sell German pharmaceutical group Viatris to Swedish specialty pharma company Meda for €750m.Viatris has operations through its own affiliates in 14 countries with a strong focus on larger European markets. The company's most important therapeutic area is respiratory. It also has a strong position in the therapeutic area of pain/inflammation, which is a core therapeutic area for Meda.
