URL AND MUTUAL ANNOUNCE ANDA APPROVAL FOR FOLIC ACID TABLETS

United Research Laboratories and Mutual Pharmaceutical have announced that Mutual Pharmaceutical has received FDA approval of its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for folic acid 1mg tablets.

Mutual's Folic Acid 1mg tablets are indicated as an effective treatment of megaloblastic anemias due to a deficiency of folic acid and in anemias of nutritional origin, pregnancy, infancy or childhood.

The folic acid 1mg tablets are AA-rated folic acid tablets, and are offered in 100 and 1,000 count bottles.
