AUTOIMMUNE INC. REPORTS 2005 SECOND QUARTER FINANCIAL RESULTS

AutoImmune Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AIMM News) today reported a net loss of $0.19 million, or $0.01 per share basic and diluted, for the three months ended June 30, 2005 compared with a net loss of $0.30 million, or $0.02 per share basic and diluted, for the three months ended June 30, 2004. For the six months ended June 30, 2005, the net loss was $0.37 million, or $0.02 per share basic and diluted, compared with net loss of $0.47 million, or $0.03 per share basic and diluted for the same period in 2004. As of June 30, 2005, the Company reported $9.6 million in cash and marketable securities as compared to $10.0 million in cash and marketable securities as of December 31, 2004.
