BUSHU PHARMACEUTICALS TO CONSTRUCT NEW HORMONE MANUFACTURING FACILITY

Bushu Pharmaceuticals has begun constructing a new facility for manufacturing hormone agents. The facility, which will become operational in July 2006, will exclusively manufacture hormone agents in order to prevent crossover contamination with general drugs. The new facility will have high-speed PPT packaging lines, a blister line and other filling machines. The company will invest approximately 900 million yen ($8 mil) in plant and equipment.
