PFIZER SAYS TO EXPAND PRODUCTION IN GERMANY

U.S. drugmaker Pfizer is planning to set up a new production line in southern Germany for an osteoporosis drug, the company said on Sunday. A Pfizer Germany spokeswoman said the world's largest drug maker would upgrade its plant in Illertissen, southern Germany, to produce a new osteoporosis drug for the international market. The spokeswoman would not give any details of how much the new investment would cost or what the drug was.
