EPIEN MEDICAL AND GALPHARM SIGN UK DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT

EPIEN Medical, Inc., ("EPIEN") announced today that it has signed an exclusive, three-year, OTC agreement with Galpharm International ("Galpharm") of South Yorkshire, England. The contract governs the UK distribution of private-labeled oral care products based on EPIEN's patented HybenX(TM) technology platform. This unique technology enables the consumer to obtain permanent relief from the pain and irritation of mouth ulcers seconds after applying product from a single-use applicator. This relationship represents the first time that the HybenX technology, which will be marketed under several branded names, has been made available to consumers as a medical device.
