FDA APPROVES NEW CRITICARE PORTABLE MONITOR

Criticare Systems Inc. said Tuesday that it has received approval from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration to market a new portable cardiac monitor. The system is intended to monitor patients within any health care environment. The design allows a variety of optional configurations so it can be tailored for specific market requirements. The system will be launched worldwide during Criticare's current fiscal quarter ending Sept. 30.
