LICENSEE TO MARKET KV PHARMA PRODUCT IN ASIA

KV Pharmaceutical Co. said Thursday its Asian licensee received approval to market a KV women's health product in Singapore. The approval was the first for Gynazole-1, a one-dose prescription cream for vaginal yeast infections, in the Asian region. Pan Malayan will market the product in a total of six Asian countries. Other KV licensees market the product in Mexico, Spain, Eastern Europe, Canada and Brazil.
