N.C. DRUG MAKER MOVING TO BOCA TO JOIN BURGEONING BIOTECH SECTOR

A North Carolina pharmaceutical company with backing from an Argentine family announced its relocation to Boca Raton at the second BioScience Stakeholders meeting in West Palm Beach on Wednesday. Osmotica Pharmaceutical, now in Wilmington, N.C., said it is moving its corporate headquarters to Boca Raton to be involved in South Florida's burgeoning biotech community and tap talent the cluster is expected to attract. Osmotica plans to hire 25 people over three years at top-grade salaries of $125,000 a year.
