ACTAVIS ACQUIRES HIGIA IN BULGARIA

Actavis Group, the international generic pharmaceuticals company agreed to acquire Higia AD, one of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in Bulgaria, conditional on certain conditions, including the approval of the Bulgarian Commission for Protection of Competition, the Stock Exchange of Iceland announced today. The acquisition price is confidential and the transaction will be financed through a long-term credit facility.
