GLENMARK PHARMA PLANS FACILITY IN AURANGABAD

In a surprising new development, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has decided to install a new plant at the five star industrial estate at Shendra near Aurangabad. The company took possession of 30 acres of land here on Monday, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) officials said. According to sources, Glenmark plans to invest Rs 150 crore in the new plant which will produce bulk drugs and is expected to employ about 200 workers. According to MIDC sources, land purchase deal was struck only recently and the company moved in quickly to take possession of the land.
