THE COOLTOUCH CTEV ENDOVENOUS LASER NOW APPROVED TO TREAT A WIDER RANGE OF VARICOSE VEINS

CoolTouch, a leading manufacturer of medical lasers since 1994, recently announced that on August 9, 2005 its CoolTouch CTEV 1320 nm laser system received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for the treatment of reflux of the Small Saphenous Vein associated with varicose veins and varicosities. The CoolTouch CTEV received initial clearance by the FDA in the fall of 2004 to treat reflux of the Great Saphenous Vein.
