RANBAXY STARTS CANADIAN OPERATIONS

Ranbaxy Laboratories today announced the launch of a wholly-owned subsidiary Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals Canada Inc (RPCI). According to a release issued by Ranbaxy to the BSE today, RPCI has already received approvals to sell eight products in Canada in the anti-infective, diabetes and cardiovascular segment including Carvedilol, Ciprofloxacin, Citalopram, Domperidone, Lovastatin, Atenolol, Metformin and Zepiclone.
