S.AFRICA'S ENALENI PHARMA TO BUY CIPLA MEDPRO, SHARES UP

South Africa's Enaleni Pharmaceuticals has agreed to buy Cipla Medpro for 1.2 billion rand and said on Monday it would apply to the stock exchange to join the bourse's main index. Shares in the group, which are listed on the alternative ALTX exchange for very small-cap stocks, surged 12.73 percent to 5.40 rand, outperforming the all-share index which was up 0.90 percent. Enaleni has also agreed on two more acquisitions for a combined price of 17 million rand, it said in a statement to the Johannesburg Securities Exchange.
