THRESHOLD PHARMACEUTICALS TO SELL 6.25 MLN SHARES

Biotechnology firm Threshold Pharmaceuticals Inc. (THLD.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Tuesday that it plans to sell 6.25 million common shares. In an offering document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Threshold said it plans to use the proceeds for clinical development, research and development, sales and marketing, working capital, capital spending and general corporate purposes.
