ICELAND'S ACTAVIS BUYS HUNGARY'S KÉRI PHARMA GENERICS

As part of its expansion strategy in the CEE region, Iceland-based Actavis Group, the international generic pharmaceutical company, has announced on Friday that it has acquired the generic business of the Hungarian pharmaceutical company, Kéri Pharma. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed. "In recent months, Actavis has been strengthening its presence in Central & Eastern Europe through strategic acquisitions," President and CEO Robert Wessman commented the acquisition.
