SUN PHARMA PROCURES MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN OHIO

Sun Pharma announced that it has signed an agreement to buy a manufacturing facility in Bryan, Ohio from Valeant Pharmaceuticals International. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Dilip Shanghvi, Sun Pharma's Chairman and Managing Director, said, "This acquisition will help us accelerate fillings for the US generic market and address opportunities in liquids and semisolids like creams and ointments, where we have interesting products in development."
