JUDGE DISMISSES SECURITIES LAWSUIT AGAINST PHARMACEUTICAL FIRM

GeoPharma Inc. said it is aggressively moving forward with the launch of a product designed to help cancer patients, after winning a court battle. A judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed a lawsuit filed against GeoPharma related to the product without prejudice on Sept. 30, according to a release from GeoPharma. The judge allowed plaintiffs 20 days to attempt to replead their claims, the release said.
