HOE PHARMACEUTICALS EXPANDING TO CHINA AND AUSTRALIA

Hoe Pharmaceuticals Sdn Bhd, unofficially crowned by local medical practitioners as the 'King of Creams,' will open two more plants, one each in China and Australia in the next two years, its chief executive officer Lee Boon Kian said. He said that to fund the construction of the two plants, which are estimated to cost between RM10 million and RM15 million, the company planned to go for listing and "tap international financing." Lee said that as there was no necessity to open more plants at this point of time, it had targeted to open the plants in 20062007.
