BAYER TO INVEST 100 MLN EUR IN MEXICO THROUGH 2008

Bayer AG announced last night that it will invest 100 mln eur in Mexico in the next 3 years. We firmly believe Mexico to be among the most promising locations for investment in the region, chief executive Werner Wenning said in a statement. The investments will include 40 mln eur for plant expansion in the pharmaceuticals and consumer care division in Lerma, Mexico.
