SOMAXON PHARMACEUTICALS FILES FOR $86.25 MLN IPO

Psychiatric and neurological drugs maker Somaxon Pharmaceuticals Inc. on Friday said it plans an initial public offering of as much as $86.25 million in common stock. The underwriters are Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Piper Jaffray and Thomas Weisel Partners LLC, according to a preliminary offering document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
