ANGIOTECH COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF AFMEDICA

Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, recently announced that it has completed its acquisition of Afmedica, a private company developing perivascular technology using the drug rapamycin to treat peripheral vascular disease, coronary artery disease and end stage renal disease.
