GREEK PHARMACEUTICAL CO LAVIPHARM PLANS TO LIST ON NASDAQ OR LSE

Greek pharmaceutical company Lavipharm Corp is planning to list on the Nasdaq or the London Stock Exchange, said its president, Athanasios Lavidas. Speaking at a news conference, Lavidas said that this is the reason behind its current 10 pct private placement, to raise 10 mln usd, which he expects to be completed in November. The president said that a precondition to obtaining final listing approval was to obtain FDA approval for its pharmaceuticals but he added he was optimistic that the process was in its final stages.
